The STIHL MSA 300 is the first cordless chainsaw designed specifically for professional use. It delivers full electric power of 3.0 kW thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery, which was developed specifically for this chainsaw, resulting in a chain speed of up to 30 m/s. This, combined with the STIHL .325"-RS Pro-Saw Chain and the Light 04 guide bar, provides high cutting performance with reduced weight. Professionals are also impressed by the weather-resistant and robust construction of the STIHL MSA 300. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations and reduces stress on your muscles and joints.

The filter of the MSA 300 can be easily accessed for maintenance and cleaning through the service cover. As the first chainsaw from STIHL, the MSA 300 has an operating and notification cockpit that provides all essential data and information about your saw. It is also prepared for networked work thanks to the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.

Thanks to the STIHL MSA 300 C-O cordless chainsaw, landscapers, forestry professionals, and municipalities can fell, limb, and cut down small and medium-sized trees particularly efficiently. The chainsaw's 3 operating programs (Eco, Felling, and Limbing) configure it for the respective applications. The oil sensor also continuously measures the amount of chain lubrication oil available, helping you work efficiently.

Note: This cordless chainsaw can only be fully functional with a STIHL AP 500 S battery. The use of other STIHL batteries does not guarantee the use of all functions or maximum cutting performance.

    FLEECE AIR FILTER

    The fleece air filter is responsible for filtering sawdust, fine dust, and dirt from the cooling air flow, thus maintaining the cleanliness of the heat sinks of the power electronics and engine parts. The filter can be conveniently and efficiently cleaned using STIHL Varioclean and reused. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to clean the filter regularly, at least once a month for intensive usage.

    OPERATING MODES

    The MSA 300 C-O offers 3 different operating modes. In "Eco" mode, the chainsaw works with reduced power for maximum battery life. In the "felling" mode, you are supported by the highest possible torque at a reduced chain speed in order to saw as evenly and powerfully as possible. In the "limbing" mode, you have a particularly high chain speed for precise cuts. Use the activation button to start your chainsaw in the desired mode.

    The derating function provides you with two advantages for your work. Firstly, it safeguards your chainsaw from potential overheating by decreasing the current. Secondly, it notifies you of a power reduction if your remaining battery power is very low.

    The LED display screen provides quick status updates of important components.

  • OIL SENSOR Zoom
    OIL SENSOR

    The LED display on the oil sensor provides information about the level of chain oil. When the LED lights up in red, it indicates that there is not enough saw chain adhesive oil in the chainsaw. If there is sufficient oil supply, the LED will remain off.
