  STIHL ERGOSTART

  Effortless starting is achieved with an extra spring positioned between the crankshaft and the rope rotor. A gentle pull on the starter rope engages the spring, reducing jerks and transmitting stored energy to the crankshaft, ensuring reliable engine start.

  STIHL EMATIC SYSTEM

  A reservoir holds bar oil until it is picked up by the passing chain. This achieves maximum lubrication resulting in longer wear and less oil consumption.
