GHE 355 Electric Garden Chipper

The STIHL electric shredder GHE 355 is tailor-made for regular use and larger quantities of shredding material. The sandwich-type blade unit shreds both medium-sized branches up to 35 mm in diameter as well as mixed soft shredding material. The BRS (Bladerotation-Reverse-System) reversal mechanism allows you to manually reverse the rotational direction of the shredding blades. This means that a different blade type is used depending on the clippings. The garden shredder has a powerful motor and is easy to move.

    NOISE-INSULATED FEED CHUTE

    The large, noise-insulated feed chute reduces working noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields against any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.

  • SAFETY LOCK Zoom
    SAFETY LOCK

    The safety lock is integrated into the opening mechanism of the shredder. As soon as the closure screws on the machine are unscrewed, the safety switch is activated, interrupting the power flow. This prevents the power tool from unintentionally starting during maintenance work or when the blade is being changed.

  • BRS REVERSAL MECHANISM Zoom
    BRS REVERSAL MECHANISM

    The rotation direction of the blades on this shredder can be reversed easily using a rotary switch. The blade rotation reverse system (BRS) activates specific blades. In a clockwise direction, sharp blades shred hard and woody shredding material. In an anti-clockwise direction, blades shred soft plant trimmings into compostable material. The system allows you to shred large volumes of material while helping maintain the sharpness of the special blades for longer.
