With STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, it's easy to adjust the saw chain without tools and without coming into contact with the sharp saw chain itself. Just release the sprocket cover and turn the adjusting wheel to set the optimum tension.
TWO-HANDED OPERATION

The ergonomically shaped handle and comfortable rear control handle with soft components on your STIHL chainsaw enable comfortable, effortless, and safe operation in all positions, thanks to the two-handed design.
QUICKSTOP SUPER CHAIN BRAKE (Q)

The QuickStop Super chain brake is an additional braking system for increased safety. The system is activated as soon as the operator's hand comes into contact with the rear handle.
TOOL-FREE OIL TANK CAP

The tank can be filled quickly and easily using the toolless filler cap.
EMATIC CHAIN LUBRICATION SYSTEM

A reservoir holds bar oil until it is picked up by the passing chain. This achieves maximum lubrication resulting in longer wear and less oil consumption.
QUIET OPERATION
