FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your power tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.

To use it actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.

The STIHL FS 85 is a powerful, efficient and lightweight petrol brushcutter with a rigid drive shaft excellent for domestic and commercial trimming, edging, mowing, and clearing applications. The STIHL ElastoStart grip and additional fuel pump ensures that starting the brushcutter is easy.


Incorporating a bike handle designed for comfort during large-scale mowing jobs, it is fully adjustable to suit your preferences. Equipped with a STIHL Autocut 25-2 for mowing and thinning work, the mowing line is automatically extended by tapping the head on the ground. The brushcutter can also be fitted with a metal grass blade. Notably, the STIHL 1-point anti-vibration system reduces vibrations for a more pleasant working experience.
