Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of your device to the respective work situation. At low speeds, you reduce energy consumption and thus extend the battery life. The practical operating handle with speed control allows you to make the desired setting without having to change your grip or pause your work.
The special eyelet allows you to attach a harness for added comfort while you work and enhanced ergonomics.
PERFORMANCE SUITABLE FOR THE TASK. You can change the power of your device thanks to 2 different power levels. At level 1, you reduce the power (Eco mode) and extend the battery life. Level 2 allows you to call up full power. This means that you can either work particularly energy-efficiently or use all the power of the tool when you need it.
SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.

With its compact and well-balanced design, along with a loop handle featuring a soft grip, the STIHL FSA 80 R offers flexible mowing and a significant range of motion, ideal for navigating around trees, bushes, and other tight spots in your garden. The quick-mounting system allows for easy handle adjustment to match your height, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic stance during use.
The brushless EC motor's speed can be tailored to the task at hand using the variable speed control on the handle, which offers two settings. For lighter work such as edge trimming, opt for ECO mode (level 1) to reduce energy consumption and prolong battery life. For tougher jobs like cutting through dense grass, simply switch to the full-speed setting (level 2) with the slide switch. The motor speed will automatically adjust to the cutting tool attached and can be fine-tuned as needed.
The STIHL FSA 80 R comes standard with the STIHL Autocut 27-2 Mowing Head. A wide array of other cutting tools and mowing heads are available to suit your specific needs. The adjustable suspension loop makes it easy to attach the STIHL harness, ensuring comfortable use without the need for tools. Additionally, the line trimmer features a carrying ring for convenient storage.
