The AR 1000 ensures consistent power output, running at full speed until depletion, eliminating gradual power reduction during use. Like other STIHL batteries, it features safety sensors that shut down the machine if the battery overheats. The STIHL AR 1000 Backpack Battery is compatible with both the AL 301 and AL 500 Chargers.
