The LED display on the oil sensor provides information about the level of chain oil. When the LED lights up in red, it indicates that there is not enough saw chain adhesive oil in the chainsaw. If there is sufficient oil supply, the LED will remain off.
Different bar lengths, wood types and sawing techniques require different amounts of oil. The controlled-delivery oil pump allows the user to select just the right amount of oil for the job.
The fleece air filter is responsible for filtering sawdust, fine dust, and dirt from the cooling air flow, thus maintaining the cleanliness of the heat sinks of the power electronics and engine parts. The filter can be conveniently and efficiently cleaned using STIHL Varioclean and reused. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to clean the filter regularly, at least once a month for intensive usage.
