The STIHL WSA 40 mobile battery‑powered water tank lets you carry out clean, wet cuts with your STIHL cut‑off machine even on sites without a water supply. It’s designed for professional use in horticulture, landscaping, civil engineering, and road construction. A robust air‑compressor pump provides a steady water flow throughout the entire battery runtime, helping to bind dust and cool the cutting wheel.
Along with the durable 10‑litre tank, level indicator, pressure relief valve, 4 m hose with standard coupling, and pump head, the set includes a STIHL AS 2 battery and AL 1 charger so you can get to work immediately.
The WSA 40 is simple to operate, offering stepless pressure adjustment between 1.5 and 2.5 bar to match different applications. It automatically switches off when the tank is empty or when the connected tool hasn’t been used for a while, helping extend battery life. An LED charge‑level indicator keeps remaining runtime visible at all times, and the soft‑grip handle ensures comfortable transport.
The WSA 40 is compatible with all STIHL battery and petrol cut‑off machines.
The included STIHL PKA 30 pump head can also be used with the manual STIHL pressurised water tank and with the STIHL SG 21 and SG 31 sprayers for mobile water supply.
Designed for daily professional use, the PKA 30 is certified splashproof and meets the IPX4 protection standard, with its durability confirmed through rigorous internal testing.
