COMFORTABLE OPERATION. Thanks to the single-handed multi-function handle, you can control your power tool easily and reliably with one hand. Because all relevant control elements are integrated in the handle, it can be operated by both right-handed and left-handed users.
With the large-area support cushion, you can guide your earth auger smoothly and precisely. The cushion fits comfortably against your body during drilling, providing optimal hold and guidance.
The QuickStop drill brake stops the drill if your earth auger gets stuck in the ground and causes the trigger lever to hit your thigh. The braking device ensures that the engine no longer transmits its force to the drill element, while the engine and drill element remain coupled. This means that you can simply unscrew the jammed drill in an anti-clockwise direction.
FOR MORE PLEASANT WORK. Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your power tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.

Powering the BT 131 is the STIHL 4-MIX® engine, which provides the necessary drilling power. Apart from its impressive performance and smooth operation, this engine is low maintenance as it doesn't require oil servicing. It also features an air filter system with a large paper filter, enabling longer cleaning intervals and dependable protection for the engine.
The STIHL BT 131 comes equipped with a single-hand multi-function handle, integrating all engine control functions into the left handle. This design ensures a secure grip during operation. Additionally, the vibration-damped handle frame improves comfort during use. While drilling, the large support cushion provides comfort by remaining in contact with the body.
