MOWING HEAD REMOVABLE WITH THE PRESS OF A BUTTON. With the intuitive Rapid Click System, you just need to press a button: the AutoCut line mowing head is released from the trimmer, which makes winding it even easier. When using the PolyCut mowing head, the plastic blades can also be changed quickly and easily by hand. Then, with just a “click”, the mowing head is securely remounted and the brushcutter is ready to start.
FLEXIBLE ADJUSTMENT, FLEXIBLE WORKING. The loop handle can be quickly and easily adjusted without tools for an ergonomic working position adapted to your height. In addition, the optimised geometry of the handle supports flexible working with plenty of freedom to manoeuvre and precise guidance of your power tool.
EASY ADJUSTMENT OF POWER TOOL PERFORMANCE. Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of your power tool to the respective work situation. Doing so reduces energy consumption at low speeds, and in this way extends the battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.
PERFORMANCE SUITABLE FOR THE TASK. You can change the power of your device thanks to 2 different power levels. At level 1, you reduce the power (Eco mode) and extend the battery life. Level 2 allows you to call up full power. This means that you can either work particularly energy-efficiently or use all the power of the tool when you need it.
COMPACT AND ERGONOMIC. The battery cells of this power tool are permanently integrated directly into the housing. This has made it possible to use a very slim and compact power tool housing design, and means you can work with a well-balanced tool. It makes your work highly ergonomic and means you can spend more time using this power tool without fatigue. The supplied charging cable is all that’s required.
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. The powerful STIHL FSA 110 R battery brushcutter from the STIHL AP system is suitable for professional mowing work , such as landscaping and parks, and for demanding work in domestic settings. The STIHL FSA 110 R is particularly convenient thanks to the Rapid Click System. This allows you to remove the mowing head quickly and easily at the touch of a button. With Advanced EasySpool, the mowing head can be quickly wound with a new line by hand.
The brushless EC motor can be controlled directly on the control handle via a variable speed control with two speed settings. For simpler tasks such as trimming lawn edges, select a lower speed in ECO mode (level 1). This will result in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery life. For more complex work, such as mowing thick grass, you can use the STIHL FSA 110 R's full speed simply by switching to level 2 using the slide switch. The speed also adjusts automatically to the cutting attachment being used and is vaariable. In addition, the intelligent electronics make it possible for the FSA 110 R to work at constant high, full power regardless of the charge level of the battery.
Compact and well-balanced, the STIHL FSA 110 R enables flexible working with plenty of freedom of movement thanks to its loop handle with soft component. This is particularly evident in clearing work in confined spaces, when mowing between trees and shrubs, and in other narrow areas. In addition, the tool-free adjustable loop handle allows easy adjustment to your height, so that you always have an ergonomic working position.
The FSA 110 R battery brushcutter operates so quietly that you can work without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas, for example, schools, hospitals, and city parks.
The STIHL FSA 110 R comes as standard with the STIHL AutoCut C 12-2 line mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. For mowing work, we recommend using round mowing line with a diameter of 2.4 mm. Also available as an optional accessory is the STIHL PolyCut 12-2 mowing head with plastic blades, which can be changed without tools. You can hang the STIHL FSA 110 R on the wall using the practical carrying ring.
