EASY ADJUSTMENT OF POWER TOOL PERFORMANCE. Quickly and conveniently adjust the speed of your power tool to the respective work situation. Doing so reduces energy consumption at low speeds, and in this way extends the battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.
PERFORMANCE SUITABLE FOR THE TASK. You can change the power of your device thanks to 2 different power levels. At level 1, you reduce the power (Eco mode) and extend the battery life. Level 2 allows you to call up full power. This means that you can either work particularly energy-efficiently or use all the power of the tool when you need it.
COMPACT AND ERGONOMIC. The battery cells of this power tool are permanently integrated directly into the housing. The STIHL FSA 70 R battery brushcutter from the STIHL AK system impresses with its combination of good cutting performance and low weight for domestic garden work, such as mowing medium-height grass, cutting lawn edges and clearing work. The STIHL FSA 70 R is particularly convenient thanks to the Rapid Click System. This allows you to remove the mowing head quickly and easily at the touch of a button. With Advanced EasySpool, the mowing head can be conveniently wound with a new line by hand.
Depending on the application, the brushless EC engine can be adjusted directly on the control handle via a variable speed control with 2 speed settings. Select the lower speed, ECO mode (level 1), for example for simpler tasks such as trimming lawn edges. This will result in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery life. For more complex work, such as mowing thick grass, you can use the STIHL FSA 70 R's full speed simply by switching to level 2 using the slide switch. The speed adjusts automatically to the cutting attachment being used and is infinitely variable. In addition, the intelligent electronics make it possible for the FSA 70 R to work at constant high, full power regardless of the charge level of the battery.
The compact design of the well-balanced STIHL FSA 70 R and the loop handle with soft component support you to mow flexibly and have a high degree of freedom of movement when mowing between trees and shrubs and in other confined spaces. In addition, the tool-free adjustable loop handle allows easy adjustment to your height, so that you always have an ergonomic working position.

The STIHL FSA 70 R comes as standard with the STIHL AutoCut C 12-2 line mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. For mowing work, we recommend using round mowing line with a diameter of 2.4 mm. Also available as an optional accessory is the STIHL PolyCut 12-2 mowing head with plastic blades, which can be changed without tools. You can hang the STIHL FSA 70 R on the wall using the practical carrying ring.
