Young Farmer of the Year

STIHL's involvement in the Young Farmer of the Year contest has always been a source of pride. FMG Young Farmer of the Year is the flagship event for New Zealand Young Farmers and is held in high esteem among the rural community, and every year up to 300 contestants battle it out for the top spot.

Canterbury A&P Show

STIHL are proud to be a Champion Sponsor of the Canterbury A&P Show. The Canterbury A&P Show is one of the largest agricultural and pastoral shows in New Zealand, and is known for bringing the Canterbury community together to celebrate the very best the region has to offer. STIHL is proud to be involved with the Wood Chopping event during the show, providing tools for use during the event as well as product and safety giveaways.

Rural Catch of the Year

STIHL NZ has been a long term partner of the Rural Catch of the Year competition which is held each year as part of the national Fieldays at Mystery Creek. This year eight selected finalists will go head to head with challenges designed to test their rural skills, effort, enthusiasm and crowd involvement, while ultimately competing for the coveted title of Rural Catch of the Year.
